Job Purpose:
Manage workshop activities, staff and budget to ensure effective and efficient services are provided to all internal and external customers. Ensure all workshop tasks and operations are undertaken in a safe, efficient, cost effective and professional manner.

Accountabilities:

• Manage operation and activities of workshop.
• Render technical support to Sales Department.
• Coordinate with Sales Team on technical matters and provide relevant instructional guidance.
• Conduct demonstrations/training (e.g. miller machines, tools, etc.) as required.
• Responsible for granting warranty issues on most of the equipment sold by sales department.
• Prepare estimation of job request endorsed to workshop particularly for external customers.
• Coordinate relevant information to related departments to guarantee smooth work flow (e.g., outdoor sales and showroom staff, store keepers, purchasing, etc.) 
• Ensure all workshop reports (e.g. assessment, estimate, etc.) are maintained effectively and timely.
• Discuss and resolve all technical complaints from customers concerning tools and equipment sold with sales department.
• Manage the maintenance of workshop facilities and fixed equipment.
• Manage and coordinate the safety and compliance of all workshop activities.
• Ensure effective utilization of ERP system for processes relating to workshop activities.
• Identify and arrange training of employees.
• Assist Support Services Manager in setting employees’ objectives and provide feedback for appraisal reviews.
• Lead by example to observe HSE rules and regulations.
• Identify hazards and employees’ safety concerns, and work with HSE Specialist to resolve them.
• Accountable for own health and safety and do not put others at risk in the course of work performance.

Job Requirements:

Education:                          

Bachelor Degree / Diploma

Experience:         

Minimum 5 years or work experience in electro-mechanical discipline
