Summary: To manage and support business systems and enterprise applications in use at Gulf Cryo, in particular group ERP, CRM, FCC and BI solutions. Able to understand, analyse and document business processes and requirements, and by working in collaboration with business users, group IT and system vendors, to recommend and help implement cost-effective solutions that deliver business benefits. Supports automation and integration of business processes across functions, including leveraging business data using BI tools to enable improved, data-driven decision making.

Accountabilities:

ERP/Enterprise Applications

• rovides technical and functional support to ERP and enterprise application end-users to encourage proper use and understanding of systems,
• Has good knowledge of a variety of ERP/CRM systems, including design, implementation and business support activities.
• Understands the importance of business master data and governance/controls required to effectively manage it.
• Supports the development and maintenance of ERP systems and related interfaces, including evaluation and testing of changes.
• Able to support and develop BI systems, to enable business users to bring together and visualise information and data from multiple sources.
• Demonstrates expertise in one or more core business areas including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR and Sales.
• Works closely with group IT and applications teams to ensure that business systems are aligned with the overall IT strategy and objectives of simplifying and standardising work processes and solutions across the group, whenever possible.
• Coordinates with internal and external applications support team to resolve user issues in an efficient way, in accordance with agreed SLA’s and Management of Change procedures.

Business Analysis and Project Management

• Reviews end-to-end business processes with stakeholders, to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and/or better manage risks.
• Documents current work processes, benchmarking these against industry and vendor best practice to recommend improvement initiatives that support company operational excellence objectives.
• Assists and when needed, leads enterprise application implementation projects to deliver new or improved solutions to business users.
• Able to effectively project manage ERP deployments and related activities, including management of change and user training.

Business Relationship Management

• Obtains feedback from enterprise application end-users on the impact of incidents and the quality of services provided, including improvement suggestions.
• Provides and coordinates business application system training to end-users, including user onboarding and IT/Cyber security risks for application use.
• Demonstrates IT as a proactive business support partner.

Information Security and IT Assurance

• Supports the implementation and testing of IT Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity functionality for critical applications and data.
• Follows all IT Change Management processes and best practice to minimise the risk of business system outages by properly planning, testing and documenting system changes.

• Communicates effectively when supporting end users, either in-person, via phone, email, messaging or using IT ServiceDesk application.
• Promotes IT as a proactive business partner and advisor, instead of a reactive ‘order taker’.

• Understands the 24/7 nature of Gulf Cryo business and is able to respond to urgent IT support needs and/or scheduling of activities outside of normal business hours to minimize impact.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Applications & Data Administration / Business Administration or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of varied IT applications and projects experience. Expertise with Oracle solutions (EBS, NetSuite, Hyperion) and/or Qlik BI systems strongly preferred. Certification in ITIL service management framework an advantage.
